THE DANGERS OF ENTITLEMENT:-- entitlement mentality of relatives. Create your own success and never feel entitled [image source](https://www.pexels.com/photo/two-people-sharing-a-checkered-blazer-9464621/) "what belongs to my brother or sister or friend belongs to me by reason of affiliations". What a dangerous words that someone can blatantly say. This statement has caused more harm than good amongst family members and relative. The truth hurts but it must always be said regardless of any form of oppression or threat. My fellow hivians these writings isn't a factor for hatred amongst siblings, NO, but a wake up call to erase that mindset of "a must entitlement from your siblings", and when you're in a position to help your relatives do so immediately without remorse. [image source](https://www.pexels.com/photo/men-walking-together-in-an-urban-area-7326889/) The entitlement mentality of we Nigerians especially is so disgusting and sickening, the wealth of a brother or sister or relatives is Not yours only by approval by the owner, but if unfortunately the owner is late automatically go down to the children either male or female. I feel sad when some tribes currently in Nigeria still practice a kind of jealousy or let me say wickedness amongst thier family members, like if unfortunately the rightful owner of a property is late and not having a Male the siblings of the owner would start frustrating and making sure the wealth his splits and in most cases the companion (which is the wife) would be set aside. That's is a very bad thing being practiced in some cultures. Someone who struggles so hard legitimately to become successful and financially stable, he or she finally finds rest. And then because you're a friend or relative to this person there's an automatic portion of property entitled for you, or you have become a shareholder of thier resources. Except the laws guiding lands and properties isn't functioning then such evil system can stand. When some things are been issued to you by the owner take it as a blessing and not an obligation, to some people out of envy, greed and jealousy they put deaf ears to truth like this. To this I personally had an experience recently from someone I thought was a good friend of mine, someone who I had been helping repeated with some cash for transportation coming to the Permanent Place of Assignment as corpes just because I wasn't able to send little cash for few days I automatically became a bad person, taking me that I'm being stingy, I wondered if it was because I told him I had a minor job that's pays me little he now thought I was lying. LIKE AS IF MY GOODWILL HAVE TURNED TO ENTITLEMENTS. So in relation to my experience some siblings or relatives takes this entitlement of a thing to another level, making them not to be productive on thier own, just depending and depending, and that's not right regardless if you're all related by blood. The scripture admonish us to be kind to one another, so everyone is admonish to be a blessing to people as they lead by the lord but for no reason you take advantage of people's benevolence to make unreasonable demands from them because you feel entitled to someone else's property, except it is stated in a will. The madness of entitlement on people's hard-earned wealth or resources must stop. This is why I won't blame some youth who be early stage they put down thier will to their children. Now I have been pondering about something, isn't it right for a man's property or resources to be automatically handover to his children and wife? Let's say there was no stated Will, instead of having ungrateful and envious relative causing confusion on someone else wealth. Let's dicuss on the comment what's your take because this entitlement thing is causing a lot of jealousy and unnecessary hatred. Thank you for reading through.
