Hİ Steemit how is everything? My name is Melisa. I am 26 years old and living in İstanbul, Turkey. I studied sociology in İstanbul University and i am currently working in a company. 

I will be writing about the things which exites me most and topics can vary from what may seem like silly things like tomato soup to more important things like blackholes or existential crisis. I am seeing this platform as an opportunity  to get to know myself better.  Hopefully you can find something for yourself in those articles too.

Since i am here and typing i would like to talk about the coffee shop i am writing this article in. It is located in Beyoğlu which is one of the most famous places in Istanbul. What makes Beyoğlu so unique is that its history goes back to Byzantine Empire and it is a very mix cultured, colorful district.

So if you ever plan to come to İstanbul, Beyoğlu and you like quiet, elegant places where you can read or work, Türk Alman Kitabevi Cafe is your place. The building is from 1800s and it has a vintage vibe that reflects this old district very well.
