After a Light-a-Tiskondi Infy day I was returning to my nest where I found a couple of I-card less folks passing each other’s tensions through a volley-ball. In a layman language, they were playing Volleyball. I was even more fascinated seeing 6 ladies out of 12 in total being a part of the match. As usual I was waiting for the moment when a girl will hit the ball but again, as usual I was scared the ball should not come towards me. A few meters away I found them losing the ball from their court; a guy caught it and threw them back but I was trying to run away from the place before they do their next move. Why was I conscious and running away!!! That is certainly because I was scared if I will be able to catch the ball as others do; to throw it back which might give some 10hits on the ground before it reaches the actual person; in the meantime the ball might slip from my hand and go in the opposite direction causing an ample of embarrassment before a dozen of players, extending to many more following me to the gate. Sounds silly and exaggerated right? A small 260 gm-0.3 kg/m2 ball transforming to 100kg of embarrassment . The worst part was the climax when I was about to cross the court and again somebody threw an Away and I literally ran from there avoiding the situation to catch the ball. The thief inside me was trying to sense whether somebody from the audience threw it back to them or anyone of the players came by self; daring not to look behind. That was a real suicidal jump-in a bowl of water-moment. Alas! We don’t have a head banging smiley in Microsoft word. The matter of concern is why do we run away from a specific situation; an opportunity knocking the door; a risk arising in our day-to-day life might be in your family or your work place. Today I could have caught the ball instead of running away might be to prove myself that I am able to do this. If missed giving it a better try for the next time. It would not have affected anything in reality. Who remembers a failed moment other than yourself! None here, is eligible to write our CRR except our own conscience. An opportunity lost or a risk resulting failure might be initially an experiment but later an experience. Giving you an advantage of evolving a better version of yourself. Adding a few more test cases to the upcoming problems in life. Our time consists of millions of moments giving rise to billions of situations bundled inside it. Are we really able to justify ourselves for all the moments spent! How many times we had ignored a passing by opportunity? How many times we have intentionally avoided a few risks? How many times we hid from ourselves? Don’t you think there is always a room for growth associated with accepting each and every favor and obstacle as well that we keep confronting every now and then. Every now is a new moment of growth. Every second we grow is a new youth to energize the self. Let us try to experiment and experience uniting all the moments of glory and embarrassment. Let’s build an identity of self by making ourselves expose to all possible points on our life line. Time is always running away! Why should WE walk slower! I am going to confront the volleyball next time! It’s your turn to decide whether you are brave enough to catch it!
