Free Coins!!!! Bitcoin Forks and How to Claim it!
With the recent price increase of Bitcoin Cash, right now is a good time to cash out on some of your Bitcoin forks!

What is a Bitcoin fork? Fork is when someone creates a new altcoin blockchain that split off from the original Bitcoin blockchain. The new blockchain will share a transaction history with Bitcoin up to a certain time and date. So, if you hold some bitcoin during the fork, you will have the same amount of coins in the new blockchain.

Here are some forks that happened this year with the date it was forked and how to claim it. I personally tested these forks to make sure its safe to claim. Hope you can use this information to see if you have some coins that you can claim!

BitCore (BTX)

First fork snapshot at block 463604 (April 1 2017, claiming service ended Oct 30th)
2nd snapshot at block 492820 (Nov 2 2017)

This is a weird fork. They first took the Bitcoin blockchain snapshot at block 463604 which you had to claim through their claiming service at https://bitcore.cc/. Which was very easy since you just had to send them a message from your Bitcoin address and did not have to give out your private key.
Now, they have a new snapshot taken at block 492820 and you can claim your BTX using the directions here. To make a claim from the new snapshot, you will have to use your Bitcoin private key in the BTX wallet. Therefore, I recommend you to move your Bitcoins to a new wallet with a new private key before you enter your private key information in the BTX wallet.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

Forked at Block 478559 (Aug 1 2017)

This is the one that everyone have been talking about lately. Currently at over $3000USD. I ended up claiming this coin back in September when it was $300 and exchanging it for Bitcoins. Bad move on my part. :(
In order to claim this, you will need your private key or 12 word mnemonic key from your Bitcoin wallet that held some coins back in Aug 1st 2017. Then you need to import that key to a new wallet that supports BCH such as Coinomi. For me, this process was very easy as typing in my 12 word mnemonic key from Mycelium into Coninomi.

Bitcoin Gold (BTG)

Forked at Block 491407 (Oct 24 2017)

Bitcoin Gold is another fork that occurred back in October. The purpose of Bitcoin Gold is to make Bitcoin mining decentralized again by changing the proof-of-work algorithm from SHA256 to Equihash.
The way to claim this coin is same as Bitcoin Cash. BTG is supported by Coinomi so all you have to do is import your private keys to Coinomi.

Other Forks

There are some other forks such as the following:

Bitcoin Diamond (BCD)	Block# 495866 / Nov 24 2017
Bitcoin Lightning (BLG)	Block# 498553 / Dec 10 2017
Bitcoin Hot (BTH)	Block# 498848 / Dec 12 2017
United Bitcoin	Block# 498777 / Dec 12 2017
Super Bitcoin (SBTC)	Block# 498888 / Dec 14 2017
BitcoinX (BCX)	Block# 498888 / Dec 14 2017

I'm not going into detail with these ones because there are not many information on them yet or they sound scammy. If you do want to go claim these though, make sure you move your Bitcoins to a new wallet with new private key before you enter them anywhere.

Colclusion

So, there you go folks! With the 3 forked coins I went over, the amount of coins that you can claim can be a pretty decent amount. So, good luck and happy fork claiming!!!!
