Yes you have heard about google-earth, also some of the applications similar to this one. Introducing the MeteoEarth, it has similarites from the other apps, but the unique features of this app is that - it has its own predictions, you may set enable temps, clouds, winds and storms. Also you may able to play and simulate from their own predictions.
