Act VIII What is justice? Over the forests, the Goddess weighs Her scales Across the Tundra, radiance and cold blend as one Below the sands do those wait among the worms Beyond the seas does the Goddess spread her love A King of the sun promising light A Goddess of the moon who banishes shadow Her love blots out the darkness A Heard in shambles protruded by thorns Torn in the balance of reapers and angels What will the ultimate outcome be? Will the Gift triumph and bring out justice and love Or will all be consumed by fire and war? Act IX A heart consumed by sorrow A soul consumed by regret A life steeped in solitude A mind filled with strife Battle after battle Day after day A wolf with no moon Shattered in greed and deceit A sky filled only with darkness But the Goddess is merciful Her Gifts are endless And though the moon hath fallen Her gardens bloom with light and love For the Gift is what we believe it to be Love, meaning, power Though the wolf’s soul is battered and untrusting That light will give way to those fallen The Dawn will rise and the thorned heart soothed For where darkness crawls That light will shine https://i.pinimg.com/originals/7f/27/4e/7f274e54aaeb3b8cd8025a2cfe5660e5.jpg
