# **WHY am I on Steemit?**
Until a week back, or so, I did not know anything about Steemit, but @digitalplayer sent me a message on Facebook saying that he **_wants me on the battlefield_**,  that **_there is a big 'need' of intelligent people in here_** and also that **_smart people don't waste their time on facebook_**.

Needless to say, I was skeptical at first, but I understood what he meant about smart people not wasting their time on facebook and I could not argue that since , to a certain extent, I believe that myself. But my skepticism was of a open-minded nature, so I decided to look into Steemit and see for myself the meaning behind those words.


##### What @digitalplayer words mean to me now:

* _**Battlefield**_ : Everyone here is doing their best to be noticed, to help others and to regularly come up with quality posts for their own profiles. It is a peaceful 'battlefield'.
* _**A big 'need' of intelligent people**_ : There are a lot of people who are trying to make profit off Steemit by using auto-commenting bots, by targetting the already "famous" profiles in order to gain more $$$, and many other things which don't require a lot of involvement. And altough it's intelligent to do that, to an extent, I do not think that he meant for me to be another one of those people. I believe that the **_intelligent people_** he was reffering to are the ones investing **Time** and **Dedication** to their own posts, to benefit from Steemit, as the Steemit community benefits from their **Quality posts**.

I believe that we all know what these words mean. Facebook gains a huge amount of money off the people who are daily posting on there, but other than the Facebook platform itself it doesn't provide anything useful to it's users.
#### But let me return to the main point, **WHY am I on Steemit?**

Over the years pursuit of my own **meaning** and **purpose** in Life, I have decided to share my own Perspective, Beliefs and Experiences with anyone and everyone who may take an interest in them. And as I reasearched and learned more about Steemit, I now believe that this is the perfect platform for that kind of thing. Not only because the possibility of being rewarded with money, but also because of the wonderful community in which we immerge ourselves.
It's a community based on **mutual benefit** which is looking to **grow and expand** itself by helping each and everyone of us grow and expand ourselves. And that is precisely what I intend to do: To grow and expand myself by helping everyone else grow and expand themselves.

## The TL;DR version:
* **I intend to immerge myself into the Steemit community and to share any Perspective, Belief or Experience that I judge to have a pontential of helping, in whatever way that help is received.**

# The introduction:

### Attributes of my physical Self:
* 23 Years old.
* Romanian living in Italy, near Rome.
* Single.
* Self-employed.
* Speak: Romanian, Italian, English.

### Attributes of my 'spiritual' Self:
I am descovering more of this spiritual Self everyday. Let me share what I've learned of Him so far:
* I AM.
* Vegetarian. (mosty)

Vegetarian (mostly) = This requires a bit of explaining. I **almost** never eat meat. 
The fact is that **I SEE** what rigid beliefs do to people. They restrain their life and tend to narrow down their Belief System to the point of where they aren't enjoying life anymore. So very rarely, I like to taste a little piece of meat so that I remind myself that I have no rigid Reality Tunnel, so that I may be able to explore the many realities out there, without being stuck into one of them.
