It is a good and a wonderful thursday morning to everyone of this great community and especially to all those parishioners of the great #steemchurch which was founded by no other knight of the person of @sirkinght. Today i will be discussing on something very important which i have titled *"THE ACT OF GIVING"*.

Many people in our world today don't really know the essence of giving and what it entails or reward when you give. *The act of giving is that inner most thing in a person that drives him or her to give* . So for the act of giving to be established , there must be first that willingness or force  to give. And also many people also think that it is only material things you can only give, but this is a big lie. 
  What ever you have be it knowledge, time, love, experince, or what so ever that thing should be and your next door neighbour does not have it and he or she is in need of that thing. It is in your position at that piont to lend a helping hand. As the Jesus says;
*<blockquote> what so ever you do to the least of my brother , thou you do onto me<blockquote>*


There are various reasons why we give and for different purposes. Some of them include;

1.HELP OUR FELLOW  BELIEVER
If you have enough and your brother or sister does not have at all, is it not wise to lend a helping hand to him or her. When you do this each time voluntarily, there is really and award attached to it.

2.GIVE TO HELP THE POOR

 This is a very reason why we should give or the act of give should be incoperated in everyone on planet earth. It is true that *all hands asre not equal*, that is why our creator created us in different manner of degree, the rich and the poor, the strong and weak.

3.GIVE TO HELP FAMILY
This way of giving is very rampant within ourselves, as we will tend to help our family and relations first before looking elsewhere. *Note something when you help or give to your family you are actually laying an investment*. Even the bible also instructed us on the need to help our family in the book of ;
<blockquote>1 Timothy 5:8 
8If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.<blockquote>.

4.GIVE TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH, PASTORS ,APOSTLES, THE KNIGHTS, MINISTERS.
This is way of laying an enternal investment both on planet earth and in the next world. When giving, it shoild be from within our inner most heart or a voluntary will not been forced to give God. It can been seen in the bible as well that our Heavenly Father has instructed us on the need of giving to our pastors and minister in the book of;
<blockquote>1 Timothy 5:17-18 
17The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. 18For the Scripture says, “Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.”<blockquote>.


A reflection of what our lord Jesus said about giving ;
<blockquote>Matthew 25:35-45 
35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

41“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45“He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’<blockquote>

From the bible  vesrs, it is clear that our lord Jesus Christ has instructed us on the  way of giving and whom to help or give. These description in the bible is very imperative to we as christians and fellowers of christ. As for us make the enternal life we really need to incoperate the act of giving.

So i will urge every one to emulate this culture of giving now for those that have not because thet act of giving is a way of laying tresures for oneself both on this earth and in the next. Giving someone today might turn out to be something good in the future.
