# <center>Gem of the day: Rotating Home,  </center>


Hi Steemians, welcome to another series of curating awesome project. Today I would like to share about home design that I saw in one of television show George Clarke's Amazing Spaces: series 6. Designed by George Clarke, an English architect and the master craftsman William Hardie, the structure is about 4.3 meter tall or in diameter and weight about 3.5 tonne.

Amazed by space travel and rockets, George Clarke envision the home of the future, thus the rotating house is the product of the ambitious thinking.

Inside of the tight rotating drum, it consist of living room, kitchen and dining, bedroom, guest area and a toilet.

To unlock the other space, one must push button to rotate the room vertically and you will amaze your ceiling becomes your floor or your wall become like ceiling.

To avoid things falling off and crash down because of gravity, objects will be tuck away snuggly and  shelves have a built in gimbal (a gyroscopic tool) to ensure it stay upright even though the space were turn.

Furthermore, objects like utensil were stick to the wall magnet.

Because of it is a functional house, it must fitted with functional bathroom. Therefore, this space will be located at the end of the building due to fixed piping work.
