Swallows are wonderful birds, they have a great memory and every year, after the great migration to more comfortable areas in autumn and winter, they return to their nests. For 5 years, in fact, the birds have built a nest on the pipe inside the corridor of the garage of the condominium.

Swallows are classified as a protected species and it is absolutely forbidden to remove their nests, in fact there is a risk of a criminal sanction, as well as a monetary sanction. Every year, in the month of May, the swallows return to their nest. Here they generally lie until July or August and then leave.

During this time, the female swallows lay their eggs, await the birth of the cubs and teach them to fly. Sometimes it happens that some puppies are not yet ready for the test of flight, they fall and unfortunately do not survive. It is nature and it is terribly selective. If you don't have the ability to adapt to the set times, then you are left out, there is no mercy about it.

Unfortunately a few days ago we found a lifeless puppy, it probably fell from the nest because it is quite crowded and growing rapidly the space is getting smaller and smaller. It is very likely that in the next few days the swallows will start flying and I hope not to see any more lost pups or proof of life.

Le rondini sono uccelli meravigliosi, hanno una grande memoria ed ogni anno, dopo la grande migrazione verso territorio più confortevoli nel periodo autunnale ed invernale, ritornano nei propri nidi. Sono 5 anni infatti che gli uccelli hanno costruito un nido sulla tubazione all'interno del corridoio dei garage del condominio. 

Le rondini sono classificate come specie protetta ed è assolutamente vietato rimuovere i loro nido, si rischia infatti una sanzione penale, oltre che pecuniaria. Ogni anno, nel mese di maggio, le rondini tornano nel loro nido. Qui giacciono generalmente fino a luglio o agosto e poi vanno via. 

In questo lasso di tempo, le rondini femmine depongono le uova, attendono la nascita dei cuccioli ed insegnano loro a volare. A volte capita che alcuni cuccioli non sono ancora pronti alla prova del volo, cadono e purtroppo non sopravvivono. È la natura ed è terribilmente selettiva. Se non hai la capacità di adattarti ai tempi stabiliti, allora sei lasciato fuori, non esiste alcuna pietà in merito.

Purtroppo qualche giorno fa abbiamo trovato un cucciolo priva di vita, probabilmente è caduto dal nido poiché è abbastanza affollato e crescendo rapidamente lo spazio è sempre più ristretto. È molto probabile che nei prossimi giorni le rondini inizieranno a volare e spero di non vedere più cuccioli sperduti o prova di vita.
