In recent weeks I have set myself the goal of increasing my Hive Power with the aim of reaching *orca* status, an important goal and a particular recognition for users. Checking my statistics on *Hivestat*, the sum of the Hive Power obtained between the rewards of my posts and the curation should have exceeded 55k HP to date, but at the moment I have only reached 50k HP, the remaining part I invested in Splinterlands and now I have a decent asset there too..

As said several times, Hive offers many possibilities for diversification, it is a large container of projects and some are irresistible for me and I want to be part of them at all costs. Holozing has also recently been added and here too my intention is to be part of it in a concrete way, with a nice investment in purchasing packs, so I won't be able to increase my HP even faster.

To speed up my growth, I also decided to set 100% Hive Power as rewards for my posts, which gave a sharp slope to my growth curve. Now the goal isn't that far away, and I hope to reach orca status by this summer.

Increasing your HP has a dual functionality:

- strengthen the power of the hive, creating greater stability within the community, increasing the value of HIVE and increasing rewards from curation.

- participation through delegations in current and future projects on Hive, obtaining airdrop and claimdrop rewards, such as the most recent Holozing has demonstrated

In addition to being an investment, Hive Power gives you the power to actively participate in requests for funds from users or companies. In fact, to access community funds, it is necessary to pass a minimum approval limit, each Hive Power is therefore essential to support a project!

For all these reasons, accumulating Hive Power, especially in these times when the value is low, could have a high return in the near future! Obviously everything has its own risk, so I always advise you to do the appropriate research and experience to better understand the capabilities of our ecosystem!
