<p>The Blockchain Technology has gained popularity due to the hype about cryptocurrencies which has shaken many startups to launch their own cryptocurrencies even without convincing fundamentals. This trend has emerged because new entrants have been agiler in adopting emerging technologies compared to incumbents who are hampered by legacy systems.</p>
<p>Moving to the today's topic... The project I am going to present you is <b>Zodiaq</b>, a blockchain-based platform for the implementation of settlement, guaranteeing and clearing operationn by creating an open banking licensed for banking services both in fiat and digital currencies.</p>

<p>So, <b>Zodiaq (ZOD)</b> (https://zodiaq.io/)  is a crypto platform for the implementation of settlement, guarantee and compensation operations. It includes a bank, a stock exchange, a hedge fund and a payment operator (compatible with PSD2).</p>
<p>The main idea of <b>Zodiaq</b> is to make its own flexible platform based on open API and debug the solution in the context of compatibility with its own bank. The objective of this process is to provide a solution already prepared to other actors of the banking sector, whose implementation will require a minimum of resources, which allows high technology companies to become an independent link in the daily transactions of Zodiaq clients to create your own infrastructure solutions without the need to develop them from scratch.</p>
<p>The platform will allow fintech companies to become an independent link in the routine transactions of Zodiaq bank clients, and competitive banking services will be able to use the new tool to create their own infrastructure solutions without needing to develop them from the beginning . The use of blocking technology at the base of the system will increase confidence in the service.</p>
<p>The strategic objective of <b>Zodiaq</b> is to create a new financial infrastructure that replaces classic banks as a management service for the execution of transactions between counterparts. The Zodiaq Bank will provide an equivalent operation with fiduciary and cryptographic currencies, thus occupying a new niche and strengthening its positions in this market, ensuring decentralized storage to effectively complement the services of the existing banking segment.</p>
