Hi fellow Hiveians, Today I wanted to talk about the obsession with green candles and how we can take advantage of the opposite! <center></center> # The Dip Can Be Good There is so much focus on green candles, money going up, charts going up and all that shit. I think the obsession is counter productive but that is a different discussion than what I wanted to talk about today: the benefit of the dips! I was doing my usual Hive activities tonight and I check my wallet to see what kind of price action there is, not because I plan on doing anything wild with it like going out and buying something stupid but I keep an eye on it for something more important: when to buy Hive! The price has dipped below the .30$ mark for the first time in a while, something some people didn't think would happen especially on the heels of the Bitcoin Spot ETF approval. That whole fiasco is as well an additional topic of conversation that some on here have covered quite well on how that is an overall bad thing in the short to medium term. The point I am making though is now that we are grounded in a bit of reality, let's get back to focusing on building and accumulating which is far more important. People want expensive shit, that's what the contemporary culture has engrained in us for quite a while. Lambo's and expensive houses and shit. There are a lot of us that would appreciate some of those things but also know that it's likely a waste of time, money and resources to do something that foolish. The more important thing a lot of times is accumulating and keeping an eye on the markets for good times to buy when there is blood in the streets. There certainly feels like there is quite a bit of blood in the streets as of late! I am actually excited that the price of Hive has dipped below the .30$ mark. Do you want to know why? Because it means when I spend my HBD to buy Hive, I am getting more Hive for the HBD that I am exchanging for! That is a considerable win for me because I have a long-term vision for Hive and the utility of the platform and the assets involved. This is what a lot of people with the Lambo and mansion mindset lack - they have little to no vision of the future. Vision is what sustains us in the good times and the bad. Knowing that we are not only doing work for today but also doing work and planning for tomorrow, a month from now and a year from now. Those can be complicated when you are trying to factor in a lot of these things but they are also important. It's good to have a way to think of the immediate needs but also the long-term goals for things like finances. If we are greedy and instant gratification minded then that ends poorly in a lot of ways, and the people who take their assets and buy things immediately are also the ones that often find themselves in bankruptcy court, divorce court and ruined financially and socially. That's not a place that I want to be, thanks much. The price of Hive right now is in a decent spot for what I like to do. I am accumulating as much Hive as I can, while also balancing it with HBD accumulation of course, so that I can invest in Hive, Hive Power and have the assets ready for the future when the real bull markets arrive. If we are constantly selling Hive at these depreciated prices then we miss out on future opportunities to take gains, reinvest in the platform and have a brighter future where we struggle less while those instant-gratifiers are in the poor house. The struggle I am having right now is do I take the HBD that I've got accumulated over the past few days worth of post payouts and cash it in now for Hive or do I wait for it to slide further? That's a pickle of a situation and I think I'm going to wait a little bit longer. I don't think that the markets in their current form are going to be too friendly to the price in dollars, largely because Bitcoin is being dumped right and left right now by big companies like Grayscale so they can cover their losses they've taken otherwise. This makes the alts bleed as they usually do but again that's okay with me! I know I won't be the only one taking this opportunity to accumulate more Hive while the price is down, it's an accumulation market right now that's for sure. The money is made when there is blood in the streets and it's looking more than a little bloody to me right now! # <center></center> -CmplXty. Real human written content, never AI. <center></center> <center>**Connect with me!**</center> Do you want to get paid, in crypto, for searching the internet?
