Greetings and salutations Hivers welcome to the 275th week of the hive open mic community. I am @coderaikiri and my entry for this week's theme I'll be presenting a song cover to shape of my heart by the back street boys so stay tuned guys.
Shape of my heart was never really my song back as a boy largely because my eldest sister head over heels for it and would play it atleast 7 times daily. I did not understand what was so special about it at all but I still listened to it in the first place. The backstreets boy being my third favorite boy band right behind Westlife and NSYNC made things even worse. I listened to their songs regardless as I was stuck with watching the song videos or doing nothing. I learnt the song after consistently watching em, it was during my teenage phase that I started to appreciate the song even more and now I am still trying to show her the shape of my heart.
The song is filled with regrets from avoidable mistakes, the will to change and a chance to make it all happen, do love songs get better yes?? Probably yes but I still enjoy blues from the 90s and early 2000s as they pack more emotion and even feel like they reflect more on what a love story should feel like
