We all know that single source of income is not enough to create wealth, we should have multiple sources of income along with that we should have some passive income sources to create the long term  wealth. I have earned more than 5 Lakh rupees or over $5.5K though Hive Blockchain. And not only that, the 5 Lakh rupees which I have earned is also earning 10% interest every year. That simply means I am earning both in active income as well as passive income.

It took me close to 7 years to earn this 5 lakhs because I was not that consistent earlier, but if you are consistent and continue working hard you can earn this in 2 years too. Hive Blockchain is a Delegated Proof of Stake or DPoS type of Blockchain in which the higher the stake you have higher the rewards you will get. Hive is a decentralized content sharing platform, that means you can write your content on the Hive Blockchain, and you will be rewarded with the Hive coins. Think of it as a Social Media where you will get paid if people are liking your contents. 

I have written various types of contents about Travelling, Finance, Programming and I have earned the Hive Rewards for the same. This is the active income where I have to spend time for writing and earning the Hive tokens for my time. The next is Passive Income, I have added the Hive which I have earned as Hive Power which is giving me 13% returns since I am using that Hive Power to upvote other people's content. When I upvote, I will be getting 50% of the rewards and 50% of the rewards will be gone to the creator. 

Now joining Hive is free of cost, writing on Hive is free of cost. But getting upvote is not guaranteed. It is upto you, how you network yourself with other Hiveans so that they will look at your content as well as like your content so that you will get the rewards.
