# 5 reasons | Why I like steemit so much?

# 1. NO ADS 

This is most important for me, and i didn't notice it before.
It's really amazing, that we aren't attacked with  ads, and even when you have adblock, you can't block sposored content offering you a better life in better price and better deal. Even facebook now announced, that it will be changed, to show us more family and close relatives, not the promoted content.
I think it makes the steemit community more "normal", which I will mention later.


# 2. Both authors and viewers can earn.

You can earn not only as an author, but also as a spectator, by engaging and commenting, and getting upvotes. This encourage both authors and spectators to interact with each other.
Blockchain and ability to tip any comment with currency, not only "positive vibes" by giving a thumb up is a real game changer. Youtube already know, that it is outdated in their monetising system, so they try to squeeze even more money now until they can by demonetizing videos and now new users have to get 10k views to start earning... They know big change on YT is coming and they will have to make changes to catch up with Dtube, which if add more resolution options will smash YT into pieces in my opinion. There's nothing wrong in earning on your content, even as a comentator.
Who knows, maybe youtube will also introduce blockchain and their currency... 

# 3. Normal people here

Next thing i like on steemit is a normal, creative community. I very like the fact, that people here show their normal life, their passions, hobbies, anything they do. And on facebook i feel like everyone want to show how much money they have, and these sponsored content i mentioned before, also brainwashing you, when you don't even notice, at subconcious level. And look at fb and yt – on fb they argue about everything, and on yt they fight in comments almost at every video, even if it was a cute kitten vid.
Adn here on steemit i see people only coopoerate, not fighting in comment, which is great!
(I also like negative feedback, when it's constructive).
I only hope, that steemit will keep it's cozy style even when it grows big, which is inevitable in my opinion, just because how great it is.

# 4. Own, inedpendent currency

We have our own currency, which bond us together, we can do games based on it, challenges, pay for services with each other, using our own currency, like we had our own country :) 

# 5. Decentralisation

It's a nice thing, that it's not in hands of big corporation, that can do major changes, or just shut down or sell the site. I'm not 100% sure, but because it's based on blockchain, it doesn't have main server, and can't be shut down so easy, please prove me if i'm wrong, i'm not 100% sure about that.

Big future ahead steemit in my opinion, what do you think?
