I'm always surprised at people who get impressed with the little glories, achievements and honour of this world. Why must we be  impressed with things that will fade away with time?  things that won't last forever or may not even accompany us  when we die.

If the things of this world can really make us so happy then it means those things in heaven can give us more than just happiness, this is why we all need to make it to heaven. 

The most important place to be is not the most beautiful city or the richest country in the world or the place flooded with wealth but the place one can spend eternity and have a life free from all the worries of this life. 

Heaven is our final destination and it is where everyone must desire to be,  you must do all that it takes to be a rightful or a qualified candidate to enter the place. 

Real satisfaction is in heaven, real joy is in heaven and real wealth that last forever is prepared for us in the eternal place of glory. 

There is no need to be moved with what moves the people of this world, there is surely no reason to embrace the things of this world that moist can destroy with time or thieves can break in to steal. 

If there is something we should rejoice about then it is the fact that our names are written in heaven and have become the rightful candidate to spend eternity. 

The disciples of Jesus Christ had a good reason to rejoice but Jesus gave them a better reason to rejoice :

The 70 disciples came back and joyously reported, “Lord, even the demons are submitting to us in your name!”  He told them, “I watched Satan falling from heaven like lightning.  Look! I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to destroy all the enemy’s power, and nothing will ever hurt you.  However, stop rejoicing because the spirits are submitting to you. Instead, rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:17-20

A better reason to rejoice is the fact that your name is written in heaven. Be happy that you have made it in life, be happy that it has been well with you in life, be happy that you are married to a beautiful lady or gentleman, be happy for that great family, be happy for the anointing on your life, be happy for the blessings God has bestowed on you but strive and do what it takes for your name to be written in heaven, this is what really matters and that which gives one real joy.
