I was born in Ghana and it is the place where I have lived most of my life. Travelling from Ghana to other continents like Europe or North America always come at a cost. It is not so easy getting a visa in Ghana to these continents yet people manage to  travel.

Those who have seen the numerous opportunities that exist in other continents or other nations and would like to seek greener pastures  do whatever it takes just to be there. 

People travel on the sea or resort to other dangerous means of travelling just to live in  nations better than their own. We spend all our lives seeking and rushing after things that last for a while and later on parishes, all is vanity.

There is no better place than heaven, no continent on earth can be compared to heaven. It is very pathetic to see  the effort people put in just to live in beautiful cities in the world or spend holidays in the most beautiful places one could ever be but would not make any plans about how they can enter heaven.

If heavens means a lot to you, you will do whatever it takes to enter. Those who are convinced that other planets aside the earth are survivable to man  spend billions of money just to visit there. 

We have heard of space explorations and the efforts man is making towards getting an abode  on other planets.

These places or planets can never be compared to a place God himself is preparing for you and I. We must be convinced of the priceless and the lasting value of heaven and do whatever it takes to go there. 

>The kingdom from heaven is like treasure hidden in a field that a man found and hid. In his excitement he went and sold everything he had and bought that field.” Matthew 13:44

Just like traveling to any nation or continent comes with a cost so does heaven. Heaven will cost you your life, that you surrender your whole life to Christ to be a rightful candidate. It will also cost you your will, that you do the will of God forego your own. Heaven will require that you live a holy life because it is place  for holy people of God.

One of these days, the things that you cherish so much, the things you value so much will all be destroyed or pass away, and death take a toll on you, if it happens, where would you spend eternity?
