 Woke up the other morning from one of my usual police state nightmares to discover that the felon-in-chief was sending in the alphabet boys and the National Guard to round up homeless folks and generally be a show of force. _Man, these Epstein list distractions are getting out of hand._  After convincing myself that this wasn't just another bad dream, it was time to be well and truly outraged. Having spent some time living on the street myself, this was personal. Can't say that it was particularly surprising though, property developers are going to be property developers regardless of the degree of their delusions of grandeur. _Really it's just one of the oldest tricks in the book, writ large; call a place a slum and crime ridden, send in the bully boys the beat and harass the locals, then buy everything you want at depressed prices._  'Shock and awe' the media calls this continual onslaught of power grabs and outrages, and it seems to have had the same effect on the Democratic Party as the original had on the Iraqi Republican Guard. _Think this last bit burned out my outrager._ If the _Parable of Dubya_ is any guide, this isn't the beginning of the end, it's not even the end of the beginning.  When old structures cease to perform their function, new ones get organized. _Shock and awe is just bluff and bluster when the outrager burns out._ As the internet always said, "Don't feed the trolls, organize!" These photos are all from various #50501 protests, which organized on the internet this year before moving into the streets.  Pretty sure if George Washington had behaved in as arbitrary and capricious a fashion, he'd've been tarred, feathered, and ran out of town on a rail.
