 The last few weeks have been a bit on the busy side, feels like I've done nothing but shoot, edit, or write since Memorial Day weekend. That ain't the worst thing in the world, been shooting more than ever, but it's left me feeling like I've barely done my main subjects justice and have been completely neglecting the little moments that are my one true photographic love.  _I blame it on wearing that damn newsie hat._ Anyways, these are the shots that caught my eye but didn't fit in with the rest of the day's story. Have no clue who this kid is, was visiting with an old friend in a park and they come over and wanted their picture taken.  Sometimes you just see something that makes you stop and ask _Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?_ Was on a protest march through downtown and spotted this. There was no chance of stopping to ask questions, had to shoot first and wonder later.  The first 'Solidarity with LA' protest here didn't have the numbers to safely take to the street and so marched on the sidewalk instead. Was out front of the march as it was coming up Market Street when I spotted this dude's expression and had to snap a shot. Eventually realized he was holding the door shut to what is Kentucky's tallest skyscraper. _We had no interest in his little building but it was interesting to see what his reaction to seeing a march was._  _That face you make when you realize you're on candid camera._ I've started going on marches in my dreams, figured it was time to take a break from focusing on all the heavy shit for a bit. _Still better than the fleeing and evading the police dreams, anyone else regularly tune into that channel?_  Gotta [keep moving](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW1oRv5n4F0) , keep finding [new music](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kVYdLjoyPE). The weekly neighborhood market up the street always has live music, which seems odd to me but I'm not complaining. It's been a fun bit of variety so far.  Probably about time I duck on out of here. Pride is tomorrow, which promises to be a proper shindig, will be taking too many photos if my neck will allow it. _Until next time, remember to shoot first and ask questions later!_
