It is funny to see that many people are offering get-quick-rich schemes but less funny to see that people are falling for them. People think that becoming a millionaire is all about investing money in those shady schemes and buying lottery tickets, but in fact, it's not. You can buy as many books as you want, you can watch countless videos if you want, but let me tell you, the real secret is in seeing the lives of millionaires with our own eyes.

When you'll study the life of any millionaire, you'll see a pattern of things that they usually do. You might be surprised to know that what you usually do are things they never do. Maybe you're doing something wrong? Or maybe not? That's your call to find the truth.

If you really want to become a millionaire, you'll have to study the pattern of things that millionaires do, and you'll have to do exactly what they are doing. Yes, if you're just getting started, the best thing is to copy their style, and then slowly you can build your own. I don't mean that you should steal their stuff though, just their activities. In this article, we'll discuss the things that most people do but millionaires never do.

# 1 - They Never Get Into Huge Debts

I'm seeing a huge opportunity to earn millions but I'm running short of investment. What should I do?

Borrowing from someone may be the first thing that will come to my mind and that's a common mentality. Sure, you can borrow money from your friends and relatives for your personal needs (only for necessities of life) but only what you can afford to return. When you borrow, look for ways to build your career and return money to the lender as soon as possible.

You will never find millionaires that get into huge debts. The majority of millionaires are not born millionaires. Most of them have worked their way up to become a millionaire. No matter how lucrative is the opportunity in front of them, they never borrow and risk more than what they have. They know that business is all about profit and loss. They admit that things can go against themselves and they may lose everything. That's why you will never find them get into huge debts.

# 2 - They Never Sit Back To Rely Only On Luck

So, you just won a lottery and now you believe that you have all the qualities that a millionaire would have. But let me tell you, that's not true at all. Millionaires don't buy lottery tickets; they're smart enough to see the odds and know that playing the lottery isn't a good bet.

Millionaires try to think creatively. They do their best to see what they can do best. They set their goals, prepare a do-list, and work with proper time management. But there's one thing they never do and that's to let the fate determine their life and wealth level. Sure, luck plays a role but without efforts, only luck means nothing.

# 3 - They Never Wake Up Late

Most people hate alarms because they want to sleep more. But the fact is that millionaires sleep less than most of us. One of the surveys states that millionaires sleep three hours less than others. That's because they want to work more and sleep less. We all know that you do nothing when you are sleeping. You are useless when you are sleeping but it's a necessity to survive.

But more importantly, sleeping 8 hours a day is fine but watching television for 3 hours a day is something that makes us lazier. Ask the millionaires and they will reveal that they never watch television for more than an hour. According to the survey of Business Insiders, most millionaires watch TV for only 1 hour a day and that too is limited to business-related channels. Now an example of such people who sleep less, Apple CEO Tim Cook, who gets up by 4:30 AM.

Nothing happens only by dreaming. You will have to put your efforts if you really want to become a millionaire. Forget about getting rich overnight schemes and forget about tripling your money overnight. Stop doing what millionaires don't do.
