Just about exactly a month ago I wrote a [post](https://steemit.com/steem/@conradt/halfway-to-minnowhood) about how I was halfway to minnowhood. Today I logged in to Steem this morning and had a comment notification from @steemitboard: I am pretty happy with this result as my account has essentially doubled in SP in one month! Apparently it only takes 497 Steem power to make it to Minnow status - I always thought it was 500!
Dapps have given me great growth potential
In checking my Steemd page I can see that I have been on Steem for 309 days - showing that it took about 280 days to become a half minnow, but only 30 more days to double that value! I think that is pretty incredible. A huge part of my recent growth has been down to the fact that I have become much more invested in the various dapps on Steem, and have seen some great results! The main dapps that I use are: - @actifit - rewards its users in Actifit tokens (soon to be SMTs) and upvotes, for tracking and sharing their daily fitness activity. I have delegated 100SP to Actifit and think that it is a great project! - @steemhunt - this is a dapp I am enjoying more and more, where users share new technology and gadgets. I love the innovations from the team at Steemhunt, and will look at delegating to them in the near future! - @musing - another great dapp, which is similar to Quora, where users post questions and answers. The big difference is that Musing rewards its users with Steem for their contribution. - @Dlike - A great dapp for sharing content from external sources. i like the concept here, and social media like Facebook etc are full of shared content, and this could provide easier onboarding to Steem, as it is something users are familiar with.
Lets not forget the great community
Along with the dapps I have met alot of great people here on Steem (I wont tag anyone because I might miss some people - but I think you know who you are!). The people that are left are (mostly) great people who are dedicated to make Steem succeed - they must be after the steady decline of the crypto market! Keep doing what you are doing! I have become a bit sidetracked and spending more time on dapps, and want to get back and spend more time interacting with others - it has become a bit of a balancing act! **Again thanks everyone and keep up the good work! Next stop dolphin!**
