Have you ever been sold on an idea? Have you ever bought into a belief? Mind control isn't a sci-fi or conspiracy idea where the brain is literally reprogrammed using technology, such as is depicted in movies like Clockwork Orange or the Manchurian Candidate.

We can be manipulated through mind control techniques that influence us. We can be tricked and deceived into accepting something untrue as true. We can have our behavior influenced as a result.

Someone who understands consciousness and psychology can manipulate us by dangling appealing and comforting lies in front of us. This is like a bait that hooks us psychologically, and then we buy into what they are selling, hook line and sinker.

Why is it that we can be influenced in mind controlled? That's a question we have to ask ourselves. Is there anything we can do? Are we responsible in some way? Are we living their lives are doing by inter what they are selling because we want to buy it?

We must learn to take responsibility for everything that goes on in our lives. We think we can just pass the responsibility onto those manipulating us, as if we don't have any responsibility to think for ourselves. For asking for someone else to take responsibility, for someone else to think for us, for someone else to solve our problems for us.

This is largely what happens in the political sphere, where we abdicate our personal responsibility and let others rule us. We are sold the deception, but many of us want to buy into the deception. We need to take back our personal responsibility to understand ourselves and understand what's going on in reality.

The input of knowledge from our environment, from people who speak, from the images we see on television, from the newspapers or books we read, all can raise or lower, free or manipulate our consciousness. The manipulation of consciousness is what mind control is.

When we don't understand how mind control functions, when we are ignorant of how our psyche and consciousness functions, we are ignorant of that knowledge. We lack the tools to prevent ourselves from actively being manipulated. Being ignorant of this information disempowers, rather than empowering us to prevent us from being tricked, fooled, deceived and manipulated by others who do possess the knowledge.

If we understand the difference between something true and something false, then that knowledge and understanding prevents us from buying into lives. Having this differential understanding empowers us to make the right choices and decisions in life. If we allow ourselves to be manipulated and controlled through our consciousness, then we are less likely to be living in truth are in what is actually real.

If we want to truly be free from the manipulations of others, we need to learn about different methodologies of manipulation in mind control.
