I'm tired of watching cartoons always, my friend said that they used to watch horror movies and off their light when watching them. Michael replied.

So you are saying that we should watch a horror movie, that's the movie you want instead of a cartoon right? Okay, I will put it into voting if others agree, then horror movie it is, Nada answered

Nada gathers all the children and allows them to choose between the two movies, which of them, they all want. During the voting, they all went and chose horror movie out of curiosity. 

Since you all have chosen to watch horror movies, I hope you are prepared not to fear cause it always puts fear in your body that some won't want to sleep alone, nobody will sleep in my room. Nada says with a smirk.

Everywhere was silent as they were all thinking deeply about their choice. So one person spoke up first.

Aunty Nada is it that scary, Michelle, Michael's twin sister asked.

Well, yes but if you let your imagination run wild, Nada replied.

They all agreed that their mind wouldn't run wild and they would watch the movie.

On the day for the movie night, everyone had dragged their popcorn and fresh juice ready for the movie, Nada decided to put Chucky for all to watch, Nada has always been a lover of horror movies but because of the kids, she stopped watching them because she doesn't know if they children will like it, as it's their suggestions, she obliged them.

Halfway into the movie, all the children were holding each other tight, and Nada pretended like she didn't see them. She knew that some of them were afraid of the dark, especially Michael, Michelle, Courtney, and Mabel but whoever convinced them to watch such a movie must have a plan and she was willing to see what will be their reaction after the movie.

After the movie night, they become more terrified of the dark. Nada tried to reassure them that everything was okay, but they couldn't shake the feeling that something was lurking just beyond the edge of the light.


One particular fear stood out - the fear of the closet. Their parents had this old, creaky closet in their bedroom that seemed to loom over them like a monster. They were convinced that something was hiding inside, waiting to pounce on them like Chucky 


Every night, they will beg their Anuty Nada to sleep in their room, even when she lies in the bed with them and they will still keep imagining all sorts of terrifying scenarios. They will picture a giant doll like Chucky crawling out of the closet towards them with a knife, or a ghostly figure reaching out to grab them. Michael and Michelle especially, their heart will be racing, and they keep tossing and turning, unable to sleep each night.

One night, Nada decided to confront their fears. She sat them down and explained that there was nothing to be afraid of, that the closet was just a place to store clothes, and that their dolls were harmless. But they weren't convinced.

Then, Nada had an idea. She opened the closet door and said, "Let's all take a look inside." She shone a flashlight into the dark space, and they all saw that it was just a bunch of clothes and shoes nothing else. She asked them to hold their doll, each person in their hand.

She told them that if ever, their imagination comes again or they feel somehow scared, they should hold their doll and say you are just a doll, you won't scare me, Chucky is a movie, and his just on TV. But the real turning point came when she asked them each to try it while sleeping on their own. It wasn't easy but gradually, they overcame their fear.

She teased them one day, asking them if she should put another horror movie, they all shouted "Noo"
