Hello Friends,

[Source](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/splinterlands-social-media-challenge-sy0vqq) ###### Good day everyone, it's yet another mid week as we are on a Wednesday one more time!!! That means, there is a new **Social Media Challenge** up on Splinterlands and here I am with yet another nice battle to share for the same and this time, it's a death splinter I used and the lineup I am sharing is by far *one of the best*. I always write a blog for **Social Media Challenge** more than *Community Engagement Challenge* because it is like a free hit ball in Cricket, I mean, it gives me that freedom to write about anything about Splinterlands unlike a specific topic in community engagement challenge. So, this blog is also like a free hit for me to write about my favorite battle I fought recently and I always feel more confident to write about a battle than write about some random topic. Explaining about the monsters, I means lineup I used and also the way the battle went on is something I always enjoy writing about. So, let me get you the details of the battle I want to explain.

## Battle and Lineup:

https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_a5947d46fe8a5e3aa570bd6850f83aec?ref=coolguy123 ###### As you can see above, the battle I am sharing had 42 MANA cap with 3 rule sets in *explosive weaponry*(all monsters having *blast* ability), *counterspell*(attacks back when a magic monster is attacked) and *Tis but scratches*(*cripple* ability to all the monsters). 42 MANA cap is enough to setup some of the best monsters we have in Splinterlands and I used the monsters as mentioned below. ## Lineup: ## 1. Harklaw:

###### Harklaw is, I could say, one of the underrated monsters and this rewards card monster is a melee attack monster with 3 attack and more importantly, it has some nice abilities like *shield*, *immunity*, *demoralize* which makes it to use as often as possible. I had made up my mind to use **Arachne Weaver** in my lineup to heal this and other monsters as it is a monster with *corrupted healing* ability and that will definitely make **Harklaw** to make it stay longer in the battle. --- ## 2. Venari Marksrat:

###### This was used to *enhance* the stats for adjacent monsters as it is a monster with *martyr* ability and with 2 *resurrect* monsters, this was about to get *re-instated* and hence, will help in getting the enhanced stats for adjacent monsters more than once. --- ## 3. Riftwing:

###### Used this along with another *no attack* monster in **Will-O-Wisp** and **Skok Duskblight** in between those 2 as these 2 monsters will get the *weapons training* by **Skok Duskblight**and will get the magic attack. This monster is also special for it's abilities of *scavenger*, *backfire*, *headwind*. --- ## 4. Skok Duskblight:

###### As I mentioned above, used this for getting 2 monsters with weapons training using this and also to utilize it's 3 *magic* attack along with the *resurrect* ability. These monsters with *martyr* and *weapons training* are always special as they bring life into the *no attack* monsters, especially the *weapons training* ones and I always enjoy using those in the battles. --- ## 5. Will-O-Wisp:

###### And... this is the other *no attack* monster which will get *magic* attack from **Skok Duskblight** and this is also useful with it's abilities of *silence*, *weaken* and *flying* and it has huge health of Eleven!!! Will-O-Wisp is best suited for the *weapons training* along with the **Riftwing** because of the versatile abilities these 2 monsters have. --- ## 6. Arachne Weaver:

###### Last but not least is this *corrupted healing* ability monster of **Arachne Weaver** which itself is also going to get it's health increased due to *scavenger* ability and it is useful with it's 2 *magic* attack. *Scavenger* ability is a boon to monsters and it's a big boon to **Arachne Weaver** because it needs to survive more rounds in order to keep getting the health back to all the ally monsters from it's *corrupted healing* ability.

###### The lineup is a bit different from my usual lineup with **Cursed Windeku** at the front, as I planned to utilize the demoralize ability from **Harklaw** and also make use of that *weapons training** from **Skok Duskblight** as usual. Rest of the monsters all look more or less same with the exception of **Venari Marksrat**. Here are few screenshots from the battle as I continue battling and I hope you got a flavor of the battle I fought thru these screenshots.

###### That battle felt like fought for ages with so many resurrects but it was an interesting one and winning against summoner **Conqueror Jacek** is not an easy task but this lineup I used made it look so easy eventhough so many rounds of battle it was. ##
Thanks and Have a good day :)
P.S: All the images used are property of the respective communities or my own unless explicitly sourced.

##### Not yet signed up for Splinterlands? ##### You can join using my referral link: splinterlands.io and get some monsters from me :)
https://steemitimages.com/DQmVT6ZAFpiN3LKV24KewpyyTyDpjNbrZiAax577pp4SzdK/Line.jpg
Posted Using [INLEO](https://inleo.io/@coolguy123/splinterlands-social-media-challenge-a-formidable-lineup-from-death-splinter-kj)
