We want first of all to be in solidarity with all our friends and followers who follow us from every corner of the world, in this difficult time we must all be united. The situation in Italy is very difficult and this does not help to carry out the project, although the funds are now available. We are confident that the situation will improve in a short time, and we hope that government organizations can finally unlock infrastructure, reopen factories and companies, allowing citizens to return to normal. </div> <div class="text-justify"> <center> **ABOUT THE PROJECT** </center> We inform you that we have entered finally into possession of the funds for the implementation of the project, have been allocated a first tranche of the **65%** as expected from the **Project Resto al Sud** the first part of the funds which will be invested in the renovation of the restaurant that we chose as a deposit for the equipment and where it will be built on a small corner office, where will be held the meetings of the board of directors of the **Cooperative Society CooperFelix-Multiservices** and where will be carried out accounting, billing and bureaucratic tasks, media-marketing tasks, and relationships with institutions and suppliers. Then the work is postponed to the date to be assigned and consequently the start of the project. </div> <div class="text-justify"> <center> **...BUT IN THE MEANTIME...** </center> Meanwhile, during the isolation phase in the house due to the epidemic, we organized coarsely with composters built by hand with pallets of untreated wood, to produce quality compost while not possessing the necessary means for shredding the cuttings. The mixture consists of the first layer of about two 25 kg bins of sawdust resulting from the cutting of firewood (therefore virgin wood) mixed with shavings of wild fir wood and residues of small pine cones characteristic of wild FIR. The second layer is formed by mown and shredded grass, weeds extirpated from the garden, Nettles and four-leaf clovers. The third layer is composed of organic waste from cooking operations then banana and apple peels, vegetable residues and kitchen waste in general, mixed with a certain amount of Chimney ash. The last layer is composed of dry material and therefore rich in carbon, then dry leaves of Medlar and other pruning resulting from previous pruning and in any case dry. Unfortunately, I am not able to show previous photos of the mixture, however, I can point out that a small part of the mixture so turned is already being decomposed. It can be seen from the brownish aspect of the mixture, even if you do not notice from the photos, there is a rich population of insects that help the composting process favoring the oxygenation of the mixture. At the time of shuffling, we decided to redo the first layer with the pruning of phosphorus, a plant with very fibrous hedge characteristics. We will strive to show you the progress of the process during the next stages with the goal, hoping that the situation will improve, bring a sample to the laboratory and analyze it by verifying that it is actually suitable for trade.
