Hello Lions, Cubs, and Hivers

For days I wanted to write a post about the Threads in Leofinance, and somehow I've been postponing it. But it seems to me that today, when in hours, hopefully, the new [Leofinance](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-leofinance) UI, where Threads will be the central feature, will be released, it's a perfect time to share with you **why Threads have been a game changer in my use of Leofinance.**

But before I tell you **my three reasons (E.F.E.)**, let me tell those of you who are reading me and have never heard of Threads before what I am talking about.

[LeoThreads](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-leothreads) are a [microblogging](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-microblogging) feature that all Hive users can use and make posts of a maximum of 240 characters, just like a tweet. And something that many may not know despite having heard about Threads is that although you must use the Leofinance front end to use them, you can post about anything. It does not have to be content related to [cryptocurrencies](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency) or [finance](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-finance).

And now let me tell you why I like Threads so much.



#### ENGAGEMENT

When I say that the Threads were a game changer in my performance at Leofinance, I mean it. One of the things that caused me a bit of frustration and discouraged me from creating content on Leofinance was how little interaction I was getting on my posts while the rest of my posts were getting a lot of comments. But the Threads changed that perception. It is the perfect site to go to meet new Hivers. and even promote your content from other communities and potentially gain a new audience. 

So threads are great for **Engagement**.

#### FUN

The second reason is fun. Threading and engaging in them can also be a lot of fun. If not, take a look at the tags that are trending in threads.

Thanks to threads, the impossible has happened. The part of my brain to understand memes that my son says I have atrophied, hehe has been put to the test. And now, I not only understand some memes but also make them 😂. 

So with threads, I have **Fun**.

#### EARN

I have given already two very good reasons, but there is a third one why if you have to choose where to do microblogging, you should choose Threads. And it is because with them you can also earn. Threads can be voted on and even curated. And who knows if one of the Leofinance whales will give you a good vote.

And if you don't believe me, this is the balance of my alt account of Leos, which is ready to participate in the LPUD (Leo Power Up Day) in two days.

And I can tell you that at least 80% of those Leos I have won this month were in the threads and most making memes:)

So with threads, I **Earn**.

So in conclusion, and if you are not convinced yet, let me ask. Do you like to be social in Hive? If your answer is yes, Threads are for you.
