I only got here 2 days ago, and I've been spending most of my time since then stuck to my laptop, reading so many brilliant articles and finally, writing. In my previous post I talked about how Steemit helped me start writing again and how important it is to me. 
But another amazing thing happened today. My fiance wrote his first article. And I don't mean his first post on Steemit, but his first ever! I had never seen him write before, and today I realized that he is actually really good. And this just made me see the great potential of this wonderful website.

People love to write. A pretty big part of communication between us still happens in writing. And even though we have a thousand means to talk to each other directly , most of us just love texting and sending messages. When texting, you can really think about what you're saying and find the right words to express exactly what you mean before you send it. And just like Steemit, once you sent a text, it's gone, can't take it back.

People also love to share. That's why sites like facebook and twitter have become so famous. We love to let others know what we think, what we do and what we believe in. Many people will post all sorts of crazy stuff on facebook, but the fact that Steemit rewards you for what you write encourages us to create quality articles and also to keep writing.

When you write, your mind opens up and that helps you get to know yourself. The more you write, the more you realize that you actually have a lot to say. You begin to see that there is so much you can share with other people. Not only that funny dog video or what you had for lunch, but your thoughts, your opinions, your way of seeing things and interpreting things and so much more. That gives you a great feeling of empowerment.

My fiance got a lot of appreciation for his article and now he is burning to write again. He's looking for ways to improve the quality of his articles even more and that's what we're all doing. 
This is what I think will continue to make Steemit better and better, especially the more people join. The posts will become more interesting and we will all become better writers, and also make money in the process. How amazing is that?
