Hello everyone, I'm so glad to have you stop by my blog.

Repetition, they say, is the mother of lasting impression. And I would like to add that consistency is the surest way to improve in your gifts, talents, or skills.

A lot of times I try to ask myselfto know what is the worst thing that could ever happen when you set out on a journey to discovery or when a new opportunity opens before you and you are afraid to take that bold step because you are comfortable where you are, and sometimes I am unable to answer that question fully because I am guilty of it myself.

Some years back I was introduced to the Hive blockchain by a very good friend of mine, @starstrings01, and he told me about this platform and how I could write on various communities, engage, learn, and connect with other people, and the idea sounded fun and good, but you see, I always gave excuses for not being active, and at some point my friend encouraged me, and after we talked, I started doing some things on the platform, but soon enough I stopped again, mainly because there were times when I would make a post and wouldn't get a single upvote, and that was discouraging.

But recently I asked myselfwhat is the worst thing that could possibly happen, and then I decided to become more consistent, and in the process of becoming consistent, I have learned some new things about the Hive blockchain, which I didn't know before, and to some extent I have gained some visibility, and I thought to myself, what if I had continued?

The reason I thought about this was due to the fact that I said to myself some time ago that I wanted to reach a certain number of HP, but of course I didn't reach that target because I wasn't consistent, but now I discovered that if I had continued even though I didn't meet up with my target goal, I would have also come close, and this is a subtle reminder for me that for growth to happen, I must stay consistent at doing the things I do because what we get in the end reflects our level of consistency at the things we do.

This is my entry for the Hive #weekendexperience prompt with the topic "Explain why you deserve more than you have and why you don't have more than you deserve."

Thanks for stopping by.
