After the unintentional break towards the end of last year, I have been so worried lately about how or where I would start my engagement this year on hive. Hive is a busy platform, so busy that one can get the feelings of being left behind if inactive for 48 hours, not to talk of a week. In fact, even when we are actively engaging, we might be missing out on wonderful experiences if we are not being properly informed.

I called it an unintentional break because I never planned to give myself a timeout, but as the season rolled in, countless of activities followed. But now that the celebration is over and the time to start on a new foot has come, it suddenly feels strange and difficult to get along . 

This is why I have decided to start my hive journey this year like I new nothing about it buy making searches of new contests that I can be a part of. 

Believe me when I say that if one continues to dwell on his previous initiatives/contest alone without making search and inquiries for new ones, it is with a matter of time before he or she fades out in the community. 

After wondering how things are going to be, I started to read today, entering channels and pages I have hardly entered before, and I am impressed by some couple of information I have been able to gather, I now have a clearer picture of how to start and what to add to my engagement as this year begins.

Although it seems slow from the beginning, I can feel that this year is going to be way better than last year, it would only cost more attention towards the right information, consistency and perseverance.

In conclusion, and to remind myself/us the reason for the post, I would encourage us(especially hivers feeling clueless of how to start the year on hive) to keep reading to acquire information. These information earlier mentioned were gotten from searching for things unknown. You can’t imagine what is waiting to be found until you look for it. Searching for information is a good start to a year with a difference.
