Hi Friends!

 

I feel like we just had a big moment here on Steemit. How many of you actually check the trending page? Of those people…do you go there to look for up and coming Steemians?

 

We all know the trending page is really more of an advertising page at this point where you either need to:

* Be a whale

* Be voted by a whale

* Purchase votes from a bot service

 

Can you guys remember the last time a post dominated the trending page *solely* because that person put out an amazing piece of content?? I honestly just thought that didn’t really happen anymore. It made me SO excited to see @bonniepiesse’s Dlive video be so well supported by the community!

 

If you are living under a rock and haven’t seen it yet – you can watch her Dlive video [HERE.](https://steemit.com/dlive/@bonniepiesse/2b8206a0-5c79-11e8-b60f-c1f3b7c155ff) Seriously, go follow her because she’s amazing and has been providing awesome content to the community for a couple months now. Not to mention she’s really sweet and super engaged with everyone she interacts with.

 

I just thought this was worth mentioning and celebrating – because it gives me hope that someone can invest a ton of energy into making a professional level piece of content and be recognized for it. I think any musician around the world that saw her video would feel inspired to come here and start sharing some of their passions. This would honestly be a great video to share with any of the creative entrepreneurs in your life.

 

Shout out to Bonnie and her husband @markvicente for making such a quality piece of content for Dlive and Steemit, and an even bigger shout out to the community for recognizing and supporting them!
