<b><h4>Paying Learning Money</h4></b>

<b>1. New Season Bonus 5% Cut</b>
When it comes down to Sorare, I'm having a lot of fun with the game which is a key requirement for me to really get into these games. I also see a lot of potential for new players to come in and since the number of printed player cards is limited, any investment in the game likely is not lost money. That being said, I'm still new and just tiptoeing my feet in the water realizing I will pay learning money which I'm perfectly fine with.

One of the things I didn't know is that once cards from a new season start to go on auction, the bonus Percentage of older season cards gets reduced by 5%. I totally get why this mechanic is in place as it would not make sense for older cards to get a crazy advantage while there needs to be a reason for new card auctions to be bought. I had not seen this dynamic mentioned anywhere and buying older-season cards was not the smartest play before this Bonus % cut.

<b>2. Common Casual League</b>
I also learned that you should enter the common casual league which will earn you common cards that can't be sold. These common cards can be used to fill teams in the Training League where you can enter your spare Limited/Rare/... cards to increase their level and bonus %. You can as many teams as you can in the training league so it pays to have a lot of common cards that you earned from the common league. Each entry gets a new common card every game week.

<b>3. Training Teams</b>
Even if players that are entered in training teams have no game, they still will earn a small amount of XP which helps leveling them up faster and you can enter as many training teams as you can based on all your player cards including the common ones.

I once again got screwed over by one of my players (Gueye) starting on the bench while the others did quite well giving me my highest amount of points scored so far.

<b><h4>New Player Purchases</h4></b>

I'm much more comfortable paying some money for players by now and I'm also getting a lot of fun value out of them. I want to enter more leagues including the Under 23 and I bought 1 quite expensive player and a really cheap player last week

<b>Zeno Debast</b>: He's a 18-year-old defender from the Anderlecht youth who is said by people that follow these players to really stand out above the rest at his age. He also is a 'sure starter' for Anderlecht already in the 1st team. So I figured he could be a good player for my main team now and my yought team once I have enough players to enter. Since he's so young he also will have many years to be put to work. I paid 116.77€ not understanding the soon to come -5% bonus cut.

<b>Vadis Odidja</b>: I paid just 2.95€ for him but totally expect him in the team again as a starter scoring an average of 55 points at least each week with AA Gent. it sucks that the bonus % went down from +5% to 0% as the main aim is to resell in the short term.

<b>Season 2021-2022 Week 5 Line-Up</b>

3 teams have European matches and both Antwerp vs Union & Anderlecht vs AA Gent are postoped to give these teams the needed focus. This leaves me with a lot of my main players that I can't field. Kortrijk also Plays against Club Brugge both their goalkeeper Ilic won't have an easy match. Malede however started last week for Mechelen and Vlietinck from OHL was also in the team. I would say I have little to no chance to do well with this team now.

My backup team once again just seems to be there to pick up some bonus % to players as the Cercle 3rd Goalkeeper won't play and Radja doesn't even have a game.

I did my first player sale on a cheap player I picked up last season when I started out making a nice +259% profit. He got a transfer to Turkey and seems to be in the team doing relatively well so a good time to take some trading profit for the first time.
