# #BLOG -  Back For the First Time: The long hiatus is over! | [SOL](https://steemd.com/@craigahamilton) 587

Hello Steemit!
Did you miss me? I know that it has been a few months since I last posted, but I am both excited and proud to say I am here to stay :) My creative studio materials are finally reconnected and I'm once again productive ^_^ :

Taking a look around for this moment of gratitude, I admit that it has been a very hectic six months; a breakup, a big move, and even bigger ambitions. Since December 2018 though, I've been in a sort of grind-hustle mode in order to get my life together, moving out and moving up onto another county into a new space.

After a couple more months into 2019 in layover, I eventually found a better place here for me to continue to create and finally completed the first of many major investments into upgrading my studio for full capacity production.

My public Instagram (@artistcraigahamilton) has begun to host my frequent live stream, broadcasting my in-studio sketching and drawing process to the public. Sit in and draw, vibe, chat with me on your phone or PC anytime I'm live. I'll set to build out a working format for publishing as more projects lined up over the coming weeks. My old MacBook Pro has seen its last days almost two years ago, sometime around September 2017, I attempted to get it repaired but its hardware was long gone. However, the brilliant and quite generous technician that set me up with my first workstation then donated this wonderful early-model iMac Min that I'm currently typing on, for which it will serve as a primary digital workstation until I upgrade with a newer model soon, complete with Creative Suite to further manifest my creations in color and other offerings from each image I release.

Do stay tuned as more illustrations continue to spurn from my desk, thank you Steemit for all your support throughout the years. I do believe that this platform has the potential to revolutionize how people communicate online, as well for creatives like myself who seek self-empowerment through sharing their work to the world. What better way to earn value by the direct interactions of an attentive audience?

Now, I have set up this makeshift rig fit for #sketchsessions live streaming on Instagram (Facebook wants a better connection, but until then, watch me on IG!) It's been a long time coming, but the big change is here 🙌🏾 I hope everyone can tune in for drawing time, so do get post notifications when you're there and don't miss it!
