Exactly one year ago, on July 26, 2016, it was when I joined this platform. And I'm not gonna brag about it in this post. I did something that's more proactive.

I wrote a post on my [personal blog](http://cristivlad.com/my-steemit-crypto-experience-personal-reflections-one-year-later/) in which I reflect over my 1 year journey (so far) with steemit. I wrote about steemit in the past on my blog, telling my subscribers how it all works and how you can make money ob it.

In this most recent, one-year-update, post, I discuss about the ups and downs we've been through here, some of the projects that I've been involved in: plagiarism detection, programmatically making tools, scripts, and analyses of the Steem blockchain, as well as my work with the @steemstem community.

What's important, in my view, is that I invite my followers to join us here, hoping to expand the community. I've also told them that, should they join, I'll be supporting them as much as I can. I've sent the email to 2,786 people, so let's see what happens next!
