fibromyalgia is bacially ubnormal nerve impulses in the belly part of long skeletal muscles... so whether you do anything your mucles ache or hurt; and if you do nothing your mucles ache, basically this goes on approx half of every day. there are no treatments ; antidepressants try and improve your mood due this constant pain situation. elsewhise steroids can control the pain in severe cases as long as the steriods side effects are not worse than the fibromyalgia... so why would i be happy to have fibromyalgia ??? to me life is hard; anything worth having comes at a cost, if it did not then like oxygen everyone would get it and not appreciate it. with fibromyalgia doing weight training makes it wose, same with running, exercise bands are bad also. Stretching helps but over time the muscles just hurt worse. so many suffers choose to nothing and the side effects of weight gain then pile on... yoga pilates etc are to intense so I invented a 5 minute exercise program that i promote as just 300 seconds per day. this 300 seconds massages the muscles but ends bwfore they can anger and inflame the muscles toward more pain. simply the muscles relax more and pain less. when i get busy an stop my program my muscles within one week start slapping me; i know i have no option, let the pain get worse or resume my 300 second a day exercise program. the key is the selected five exercises selected within this program... and that is why i am happy to have fibromyalgia; life is hard, but my glass of luckiness is always half full instead of being negative and half empty.
