# <center>The biggest exchange by btc total 24h volume </center> 
You probably may think that it is **Binance**, **but not!**
The first position changes more than we could think...
Some time ago it was the korean exchange Bithumb, and now it is in the 5 position!

So, with a total 24 h volume of **309,324.51 BTC** (almost twice the volume of Binance),  the **first position** is for.. the Seychelles based exchange ***BitMEX!***

Quite impressive, because the **second position** is for **Binance** with **166,500.01 BTC**, that is **46% volume less than BitMEX**.

**The top 5 biggest exchanges list is followed by:**

* **3rd** **Bitfinex**, with **69,976.55 BTC**	24 h total volume
* **4th** **Bittrex**, with **55,688.96 BTC**	24 h total volume
* **5th** **Bithumb**, with **51,137.02 BTC**	24 h total volume
