About us

Crypto Technical Analysis is a CryptoCurrency based community. Multiple Analysis experts lead the group forward with their analysis of current up to date markets, aiming to find markets with the best entry point and exit points. As well as aiming to find the coins with the best team, and technology behind them for the long term. The team also creates tutorials in order to assist people with learning how to do their own Technical and Fundamental Analysis.

We promote the open learning and discussion of both Technical and Fundamental Analysis through the usage of our Forums, Discord, and Steemit. We hope to create a thriving community where new and old can come together to share their ideas on both the Technical and Fundamental aspects of Cryptocurrency trading.

Technical Analysis

Technical Analysis is the use of past price movements to forecast future price movements in an asset. Price fluctuations in markets occur as a result of changes in supply and demand of an asset, creating repeated patterns.

Technical analysis techniques have been used successfully by the top stock traders for many years to generate a profit. Knowing these patterns allows us to find profitable opportunities for entries into Cryptocurrencies.

Fundamental Analysis

As opposed to looking at price movements in an asset, fundamental analysis uses information known about the asset to understand what the theoretical or underlying price of an asset should be. In stocks and equities, this would-be information about revenue, dividends and profit margins.

In Cryptocurrencies, fundamental analysis looks at qualitative factors about the currency such the technology’s use-cases, development team expertise, governance and other relevant news. From this information, we can determine how likely a coin is to be adopted or widely used. Fundamental analysis used for longer term analysis and decision making when price movements are unjustified, to find out when a coin is under or over-valued by the market.

Why Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrencies are a newer asset class that has not been widely adopted. The markets are fresh and new, leading to a large number of market in-efficiencies compared to more traditional assets like commodities and stocks. This leads to volatility and fluctuations in the price that are much larger than more efficient markets. Using a combination of technical and fundamental analysis, we can identify high probability opportunities to make large returns by capitalising on these market in-efficiencies.

Large stocks are full of professional traders competing with each other. This competition leads to more accurate prices as the price better reflects all the information about the asset. On the other hand, Cryptocurrencies are full of participants who do not know or use analysis to make their buying decisions, leading to the price fluctuating often above or below a coin’s real value. This makes it much easier to make big profits from cryptocurrencies when compared to large market cap stocks.

Membership

Crypto Technical Analysis offers both free and premium analysis. The free membership includes access to the Discord channel and free analysis and tutorials. Premium members have special access to our exclusive, premium analysis and tutorials. This includes access to our premium Discord chatroom where they will have priority discussion privileges with CTA experts. Here, they will be able to discuss their own trade ideas and receive feedback from experts and other premium members.

To join Premium please refer to our main site. As of writing the price is discounted at an introductory rate. Any new members within the first two months of CTA will also be credited an additional two months membership for free. The reasoning for this is that we are still in the early stages of CTA and thus content is more sparse then what will be regular after two months of operations.
