A recent survey suggests that the majority of Americans consider crypto too confusing, too difficult to use, or an outright scam. 

The following survey results from Bloomberg have been attracting some interest recently:

The survey polled 2,001 Americans about their attitudes to crypto, asking ‘Why haven’t you invested in cryptocurrency?’ For most questions, there were clear disparities between men and women, with the exceptions of ‘It’s too difficult to use’ (given by around 12% of people) and ‘There are too many fees’ (5-6%).

The main reason given was that ‘There’s no need for it’, by a total of around 40% of respondents. Around 35% thought it ‘Too high risk’ and 25% ‘Too complicated to understand’. (More than one answer was allowed.)

Just small minority of Americans actually own it – around 4% of women and 12% of men – meaning there is a long way for adoption to go.
