Late last night there was an announcement from the COTI team that the airdrop rewards have been distributed or are being distributed and as of right now still nothing has come through. Patience I guess as everything is linked how it should be and I will just wait for them to arrive.

Reading further on I see the rewards are being distributed over a 12 month period which kind of sucks but still they are free rewards so one cannot really complain. I have a total of 16 104 COTI rewards due which would equate to around 1342 COTI monthly if distributed over 12 months.

Currently I have 169.2K staked and to reach my 200K COTI goal before the peak of this cycle I will need to work out how to achieve this now. If the airdrop was instant and complete in one deposit then this achieving the target would have been a foregone conclusion and now not so straight forward.

If I consider I am earning somewhere between 1500 and 1800 monthly via the APR in the form of rewards then with the airdrop I would be earning roughly 3000 monthly. Give or take six months before the end of this year that would leave my stake at around 188K COTI which is 12K COTI short and that is what I need to buy before the time runs out and the prices move.

The last 3 or 4 months waiting for the new COTI V2 Treasury to go live has been a frustrating period as the only growth I have achieved is what the stake has generated in the form of rewards. Any growth is good growth, but this has held me back and would like to see this happen like yesterday. They say it is happening next week and this is at least a finality to the time line. I have another 1K COTI sitting on HTX and will most likely have to sell those in order to move the funds to Metamask to buy COTI V2 tokens.

As frustrating as this maybe for now the upside is far bigger than having no changes and no development taking place and the only reason for all the changes is the token has upgraded and become an Ethereum L2 token with privacy features.

The last ATH saw COTI achieve $0.66c and this time I expect a much bigger upside due to how much development and technology that has been added since 2021. $1 should be a given and my guess would be somewhere between $1 and $5 so we will have to wait and see what happens between now and the end of this cycle. I may be way out with my estimates and underestimated the true values which I hope I have because that would mean I have hit the jackpot.

All one can do is buy the ticket and be involved accumulating as much as possible along the way waiting for the values to appear at some point in the future. This has been or will be a 4 year investment covering the entire crypto cycle and is going to reveal to myself what dollar values are genuinely achievable over that period of time. Crypto is all about learning and this is a constant process that never ends.
