For those who haven't noticed, [there have been complaints](/@pharesim/hive-l2-return-of-the-bidbots) about the CryptoCompany Voting Service on the assumption that this is a crude voting service. I find the most amusing title to be “a vote buying service disguised as a game”. As part of my responsibility to CryptoCompany and the community around it, I have signaled a willingness to engage in dialogue. As always with CryptoCompany, my focus is on solutions rather than labeling circumstances as problems and engaging in any downvote wars.

Before I go on about how the service is not a crude voting service, which you can already do [read here](https://peakd.com/hive-196769/@acidyo/re-cryptocompany-su4zfo), let's focus on the new things:

<h2>Conversion of the voting service:</h2>

As before, the voting activity will focus on Hivians who support CryptoCompany. However, since not all types of support within the complaints can be honored 1 to 1, in a “For this you get a vote from CryptoCompany”, I have adapted the rules. I have already discussed the new criteria with several supporters, but I am putting them up again for discussion within the community. Also @pharesim, @acidyo and @stayoutoftherz are invited to participate constructively in the dialog.

The most important thing: There will no longer be a service called “Voting Service”. I will leave [the subpage](https://cryptocompany.ceo/voter.php) online for a while, with a corresponding note to inform users who have not yet noticed the changeover. The Hive Power available to CryptoCompany will in future be allocated via a program called “Members of the Day”.

And as already mentioned: in the following days I will be offering new, worthwhile offers for the CCD token. We can be sure: things are moving forward and upwards!

The goal of the deposited Hive Power is still to honor the support of CryptoCompany. Below I list several points that I would review. This list is not complete. For example, @ecoinstant has several times ensured that the CCD retains its value in the pool - an act that is beneficial to the whole community and all investors, but not necessarily explicitly listed as a point. There is no static weighting of points. On the contrary, occasionally I would weight the points differently. Depending on what CryptoCompany needs at the time. However, I would not do this in secret, but always communicate it in the “Members of the Day” postings. Basically, the principle is simple: do good for the community and the community will do good for you.

None of the following is a MUST, but will help you earn points towards becoming a Member of the Day. Again, there is no key element or compelling need to do anything.

There is also no guarantee of becoming a “Member of the Day”. What was enough to get a vote today might not be enough tomorrow due to greater competition. But it might be enough again the day after tomorrow. My tip: just do the best you can - just as CryptoCompany does the best it can for you. Then we can continue to grow together.

My plan is to write every day a report who was voted and what was the reasons for that. So you can be inspired by that and adjust/improve your support for CryptoCompany. Additional you can be informed about what CryptoCompany needs right now and in the next time and on what you can score.

These changes might minimize the consumption and burn of the CCD for a moment (don't worry, I will provide other consumption options in the next few days; new features will be rolled out as soon as possible!) But: the new criteria will help CryptoCompany and all members to grow further, gain more promotion and engage the community more closely - and ultimately reward better for engagement.

Of course, this means a lot of work for me to create the scripts, but life is change and adapting to the current circumstances. I will keep you informed about improvements within the new system.

<h2>Thanks for your support! So many positive developments after the "incident":</h2>

An important point for me to report. Of course, I have received a few questions from concerned Hivians asking “What will happen to the CCD now?”. Concerns have arisen and I have had to answer a lot of questions. Of course, a few CCD users have also exchanged their CCD for SWAP.HIVE directly in the pool and the price has fallen in the short term. But now comes the good news:

Despite the developments that on the surface could be seen as “negative”, support for CryptoCompany has actually intensified. The project now has even more delegated Hive Power than before the complaints and we have exceeded 250,000.000 Hive Power available to the project. This is not the only milestone.

Swapping CCDs? I'm so fine with people swapping their CCD because the voting service is no longer available in its old form. Why do I think that's okay? Because it sorts out who is only here to primarily skim quickly or who really supports CryptoCompany and the growth of all. So gratitude here too. As a community, we need true supporters. And the last few days have shown that we have them:

More Hive Power (over 250,000 HP available!) and energetic Hivians who took advantage of the CCD's price to buy cheap because they believe in the project, but also want to actively support the CCD and CryptoCompany.

And also all the comments since the incident are a waterfall of encouragement and expressed conviction to be on the right track. We need these Hivians!
