Blockcerts uses a time-stamped process to show that the school is digitally recording the certificate. Through this process, the student can show proof of ownership st on his diploma. 

**How we use the application?**

A student downloads it and produces an open-private key pair after enrolling in the program.Then the application is sending the public key to school. After the school has registered this key on the blockchain, the Blockcerts App allows the user to prove the ownership of the diploma by storing the user's private key.
