Looking At The Support And Momentum Steem Has Seen In The Past Few Months Are Great Indicators Of What The Future For Graphene Based Blockchain's Will Hold.

While many coins have experienced major price gains over the past several months, Steem has been able to hold its gains and support better than most coins.

While many of the coins that have experienced major momentum over the past several months will likely have a hard time holding their price and support level in the long term, I believe that Steem, Bitshares, and upcoming projects such as Peerplays and EOS, will become major player in the cryptocurrency market over the next year. While Peerplays has launched, the tokens are not available for trading on a major exchange and the gaming applications haven't been launched so it may be a few months before we start to see Peerplays attracting serious interest. While the upcoming Graphene projects aren't necessarily tied to Steem, the increased interest they will bring to Graphene technology as a whole will undoubtedly bring increased attention and investment to existing Graphene networks.

Bitshares has experienced serious and rapid gains over the past 2 weeks, but I still believe that its current price level is well below the level we will see in several months. While the price may fall for a week or 2, the overall momentum of the market is very bullish, and will likely only become stronger and more pronounced as time goes on. An individual with minimal technical experience or knowledge can easily interact with the projects that run on Graphene blockchains, which gives them a more practical chance of adoption compared to projects running on other systems. While the Graphene blockchain doesn't necessarily require users to have easy interaction with it, both Steem and Bitshares are some of the easiest and most convenient projects for users to interact with directly. In terms of speed of adoption and likeliness of adoption, the ability of users to directly and easily interact with the network is paramount.

When support and investment is derived from current capabilities and uses, a project has a much greater chance of maintaining and continuing to gain momentum.

The Steem network is very efficient, fast, and reliable, but the Steemit platform offers a way for users to interact with the network directly without even knowing it. This gives users a direct ability to interact with the network and use it for a variety of different task, such as posting content, reading content, developing applications, and transferring and storing value. Instead of users needing to download software packages in order to interact with the blockchain, Steemit gives users the ability to have meaningful, reliable, and efficient interaction with the blockchain through nothing more than a web browser.

Steemit may be facing some issues currently with their new user registration process and has experienced some technical issues lately, the platform's development team has shown their abilities to handle issues like this in the past and there is nothing that makes me believe these issues will be any different. I remember how grim things began to look after the departure of former CTO Dan, but Steemit has only continued to gain in support and activity since that happened. I am not saying that the departure of Dan lead to these increases of support and users, but rather the platform he brought to life began to finally get noticed for its true capabilities. Steemit in my opinion is the most accessible blockchain on the market, and with the increasingly large numbers of new individuals entering the market many of them will likely find their way to Steemit.

When someone asks me where the best place to start learning about cryptocurrency, I recommend that they read a bit about Bitcoin and then find their way to the Steemit platform. Steemit not only gives the ability for new users to ask questions, read information about cryptocurrency, and stay up to date on information, but it also makes it very easy for individuals to gain experience with transferring and exchanging cryptocurrency. By the time users are actual earning on the platform, they likely will have much better understanding of cryptocurrency as a whole than they did prior.

How will upcoming Graphene projects impact existing Graphene projects?

While the upcoming EOS project would make it possible to integrate Bitshares and Steemit into the EOS platform, that doesn't necessarily have to happen. Whether that happens or not, some of the interest and investment that comes to the EOS project will likely find its way to Steem and Bitshares as well. I believe that EOS will attract many high value and institutional investors, which will likely focus more heavily on the technology and its capabilities compared to small or personal investors. If any Graphene project was to receive increased adoption and interest, it would likely have a positive effect on the other Graphene projects that exist.

As the Steem and Bitshares continue to prove their capabilities into the future, there is nothing that leads me to believe that the momentum that the coins currently have will change in the near future. The easy access and practical solutions that Steemit offers to its users are unlike another cryptocurrency project out there, and I believe that Steemit has a much more practical goals and methods of reaching those goals than most other blockchains that are currently deployed in their full capacity. As more interest and investment continues to find its way to projects based on Graphene blockchains, these projects future looks much brighter. I have been increasing my stake in Bitshares for the past several months, and have no plans to stop anytime soon. While my Steem and Bitshares holdings are both up over 300%, I still have no plans to exit or reduce my positions in these coins in the upcoming future.
