Learning With Levy #3: Keeping Up The Pressure!
One of the great things I've learned from Levy Rozman, is a kind of theory of mind when it comes to chess. Of course I've learned a little bit more about the theory of openings, and practical moves for certain situations.

However I've also learned about different styles of play, in this video I wanted to try and do something Levy is always talking about, and that is playing with tempi and using that to apply constant pressure on your opponent, especially if they make any wrong moves you spot.

I was very happy with this 5:3 Blitz game, from move 3 when I moved my Queen to b6 pressuring my opponent's pawn on b2, I started a sequence of moves that created pressure on both Queen and King sides.

Any move that was not directly responsible for immediate pressure on a square or a piece, was used as a tempi move to set up future pressure.

It was not a long game and my opponent was rated lower than me, but I still think this is one of my best games at black, simply because I didn't feel like I wasted any moves.

Enjoy and see you for the next one!
