# Fundraiser on Steemit
I have seen some charity crowd funding done here, some very successful, some other not so much. I have been playing with the idea of doing one, but it won't be any time soon (or who knows). I guess we will see more of them as I expect Steemit to be a bit of kickstarter/indiegogo. I would definitely upvote a post from Wikipedia but the sad part is that my vote is not, for now :-), worth 2€.
