# Me, Myself and... Wait, What?

I have been using this platform for [1 whole month already](https://steemit.com/steemit/@cryptos/exactly-1-month-on-steemit-let-see-what-i-have-achieved-so-far) and this will actually be my second try at introducing myself, though this is not a repost of the previous Blog post.  About 10 days ago I've had my [first not so successful introduction](https://steemit.com/steemit-posts/@cryptos/what-i-m-already-writing-about-and-will-be-writing-about-in-the-future) when I tried to introduce myself though my work and what I have already published on Steemit... that did not go too well I guess. Apparently not the kind of introduction that people expect to see on Steemit and vote for what you have already done and not who you are or what you may or may not do in the future, go figure...

Well, today I'm going to give it another try and try to introduce myself again. No, I'm not going to tell you my name, where I'm from and or some sad story that really changed my life for the better. That really does not matter that much in my opinion, or at least for me it is not so important, it is not why I'm here on Steemit either. I'm not a writer that writes novels, nor do I have something special or boring in my life so far to tell about and use to capture your attention. I'm just a regular guy, maybe a bit of a geek, with a lot of interesting and useful knowledge on a number of topics, a few fun hobbies and a lot that I can share and help with here on Steemit. I believe I have proven that with what I have written so far, you can see for yourself by checking my Blog posts and I do plan on contributing more as well.<br>


# Didn't I Say Something About a Secret

What about the secret I was going to tell you, the thing that most likely has drawn your attention here? No, I'm not yet another celebrity in disguise, lurking around in secrecy and/or spying from inside how things work, nor I have some other ulterior motive. I have registered on Steemit a month ago just to check it out at first and see what all the fuss was about. I do this kind of things pretty much every day as I do like to try new things, and it is also a part of my job. I'm an author and editor at one of the popular blogs in the crypto world, namely the [**Crypto Mining Blog**](http://cryptomining-blog.com). I guess that some of you that are into crypto may have actually stumbled upon it, while other may not have heard of it at all.

This here however is my personal account on Steemit and only I'm using it. It is not an official one for the website mentioned, nor did I get any support from it whatsoever for the past month that I've been a part of the Steemit community. Soon after I started using Steemit, I have decided to write a review of the platform, a review that is based on my personal experience as a regular user using the platform for a month, before actually writing something about it. I have in fact already written a guide on how to mine Steem there as well as posted a different shorter version here, but that was pretty much all that was related to Steemit, and it was not an actual review of the project itself.

Just to say it again, this account was not registered and used just for writing the review of Steemit, based on personal experience, I just decided I should write the review after starting to use the service. I do plan on continuing to be a part of the Steemit community, contributing with my knowledge and skills here and using this account just as I was until now, a personal one. This means that nothing is really going to be different now, that I'm posting this and re-introducing myself here.
