# Do People Still Read Real Books?

Ok, I know that this question may sound strange to some of you, especially the not so young ones, but I'm wondering if nowadays people still do read actual physical books or not? Today while discussing some stuff with a friend he asked me what the last book I have read was and my reply, without even thinking, was "the digital copy of ...", so this got me wondering when was the last time I did read a real physical book.

If I manage to remember correctly it was about two years ago during a vacation trip, I have picked up some short novel, but I can't even remember the name now (need to find the book). It is not like I don't like to read, in fact I read a lot of things, however they are all in electronic format... new books nowadays also come in electronic format. Still, I remember that some years ago I still enjoyed reading a real physical copy of a book now and then and is has been like that since I was a kid... back then I have been reading a lot of books.

It seems that nowadays it might even be hard to find a physical copy of a book you are interested in and it is so much easier to get it in an electronic format and read it. So I have decided that maybe I need a bit of a change and tomorrow I should go and try to find an interesting novel in a physical format that I will read. I'm open to suggestions for not so long books, maybe crime or sci-fi as a genre.

# When Was The Last Time You've Read a Real Book?

Now for the real question, when was the last time you remember reading a real physical book? Was it recently or not, do you remember what was the book about and the title, and would you recommend it to somebody if you got asked? Do you actually like to read things from real paper or you prefer reading a digital version on an ebook reader, tablet or a computer? Reading short stories on steemit does not count as reading a book, let alone a physical one, so no links for these please.
