Their site says they will introduce battling, which leads me to speculate that different classes of tulips will be released at different stages.  They already have a rarity system in place ranging from Very Common to Exclusive Secret tulip.  This is what a lot of the collectable ETH tokens are missing, a game of some sorts that you can play, and utilize your tokens in an entertaining way.

        Now I know what you are thinking, why would I waste my ETH on these silly tulips, well I'm sure thats exactly what people were also saying in the 1600's when some fortunate souls were paying for a house with a tulip.
