HI all, Crypto Sludge here

Well, looks like bitfinexed from twitter got what he wanted. The US CFTC has subpoenaed Bitfinex and Tether.

This totally explained the dip we had yesterday and today with BTC breaking 10k$ and going against the predicted trends, i guess people close to the subject got notified and hurried to dump their btc (which is kinda strange to me, if Tether is a fraud and going to be exposed, won't you prefer to be in crypto?!)

Anyway, here is the Bloomberg article, i guess more FUD to follow. Remains to be seen if the US CFTC even has jurisdiction over bitfinex an tether as they officially prohibit US citizens from using the platform - but i guess if Uncle Sam decides it does have jurisdiction, not many can oppose ...
