Hi fellow crypto enthusiasts!

With BTC now smashing the $10,000 barrier, I find myself thinking about what is going to happen in the next few months. I bet there are some others (including you?) doing the same thing ;-)

One of the things I expect to happen is the subject of Bitcoin being discussed at a lot of **Christmas dinner tables**. That will probably lead to a lot of new accounts created on exchanges like Coinbase. With that, new money flowing into the space of people that just heard about Bitcoin.

The question that keeps me busy is how exactly will this impact the price of Bitcoin (BTC) during the Holidays, but more importantly, in the beginning of 2018? Will it only continue to rise, because more money flows in? Will bag holders simultaneously take advantage and cash out some profits and will that actually decrease the price? Will they move to alts because 5-digits is psychologically too high at this moment for most people?

Nobody knows, but that does not mean we cannot make predictions. That’s why I have created this little contest ;-)

**Here is how you participate:**

* If you think the price of 1 BTC at the end of January 14 will be **above $12,000**, then upvote the comment ‘The price of 1 BTC will be above $12,000’.

* If you think the price of 1 BTC at the end of January 14 will be **between $10,000 and $12,000**, then upvote the comment ‘The price of 1 BTC will be between $10,000 and $12,000’.

* If you think the price of 1 BTC at the end of January 14 will be **below $10,000**, then upvote the comment ‘The price of 1 BTC will be below $10,000’.

**Note**: you can upvote a comment **until 11:59 PM CET November 30** and you are allowed to upvote only one of the three prediction comments. **50% of SBD from this post** will be distributed **equally** to the winners. The winners will be determined based on the price per BTC on Coinmarketcap.com at **11:59 PM CET January 14**.
