The title of this post is so *niche*. I think no one has ever used this word as their title.

I titled this *niche* because it is hard to stand out, generally.

I recall someone mentioning that Hive is to be treated as a niche blockchain with its own unique propositions and utilities. It is not meant to be receiving widespread adoption, and it is fine.

I love the way expectations for Hive to moon are tempered this way.

Indeed, Hive attracts a certain type of users. I think those who value censorship resistance, sharing thoughts, and making friends with generally like-minded people will be drawn to Hive, and *stay*. 

In short, Hive has to become a kind of lifestyle choice. For example, I spend my leisure time posting and reading stuff on Hive like it's my number one hobby. 

We just need more people who are like that to come on. They would be the ones who will form the backbone of the blockchain. They are the ones that make Hive different. 

They are the reason why Hive is *niche*.

I really don't know how to carry on with this post. Hive is so niche that at the core of it, it has no rules. So it is fine that I stop.

I just want to soak in the sense of Hive being *niche*.
